Work It!

Hi Everyone
I hope you are all having a good weekend, I have made the most of the fact that it's been torrential rain all day here by hiding away in my craftroom and I have made such a mess! I've currently walked away from the devastation but I will need to return shortly and tidy up as I can't leave it like that as it messes with my senses. I can't share with you yet what I have been making but will very soon!!!!
I'm sharing with you today a birthday card I made a couple of weeks ago for my sister, keeping it very clean & Simple on this one. She has recently trained to be a personal trainer and this was the only image I had that fit that theme.

The main image is from Art Impressions - 'Yoga Yolanda'stamped and coloured with Prisma colour pencils, the 'Work it' stamp is also Art Impressions.
I die cut the Happy Birthday and placed an ombre effect card behind that I had created using Paperartsy paints and a brayer, mounted on to a co-ordinated coloured piece of card before added to the card blank.
Hope you all have a fabulous Weekend and thanks for stopping by
Love
Amanda X

  1. Such a great fun card and I'm sure your sister loved it, especially the fact that it's so personal to her.
Looking forward to seeing what your messy day produced.

  3. That's a fabulous image - and I'm sure your sister loved the card - such lovely colours too. Glad to hear you've been getting messy today. I've been trying to do some much-needed sorting and re-organising of the craft supplies. Every time I pack and go away and come back (usually with more than I went away with) a new pile of stuff fails to get put away, but gets added to the teetering towers on the floor. It was time to do something about it. There's been some progress, so I might even manage some creating tomorrow if the Mojo turns up! Have a lovely Sunday.

  4. What a great card Amanda, she's perfectly balanced above those words.
Look forward to seeing what you have been up too, i'm getting messy in a different way at the moment so you really wouldn't like to see what i'm living amongst.
    Happy Sunday Hugs Tracey xx
