Red & Green should never be seen for That's Crafty Challenge Blog

Hi Everyone
Time for a new challenge fortnight at That's Crafty Challenges and our theme for the next 2 weeks is
"Red & Green should never be seen"
We would like to see any type of project that uses red and green as the dominant colours of your make.

I have gone with quite a simply made card to hopefully inspire you to come and play along with us. My background was made by applying several shades of green distress inks to an acrylic block, lightly misting with water and then pressing down onto a piece of water colour paper. I love that the top of the inky print looks like the sunlight is bursting through the trees, even though it was a fluke!
I have then stamped the birds on branches from Katzelkraft, repeat stamping just one of the birds. I punched a small heart from painted book paper and drew the string on so it could hang from the tree. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz hashtag stamp set. I drew lines around twice then mounted onto black card.
My Team mates have all made very different things using this fortnights colours so you will find more inspiration Here.
Don't forget that one lucky winner will win a £20 online voucher to spend in That's Crafty online store. Trust me you'll be stuck for choice.
Thanks for popping in and hopefully we'll all see you playing along with us.
Love
