Hi Everyone
It's time for a new fortnightly challenge over at That's Crafty Challenge blog and our theme for the next 2 weeks is
"Round & Round" (use circles on your project)
I love using circles and for my piece, as a little bit of inspiration for you, I have used many of the various circular dies designed by Seth Apter for Spellbinders.
My piece started with a That's Crafty MDF panel (4.5" x 9")
I brayered several colours of Paperartsy Fresco finish paints onto book pages, my book pages are from an old railway timetable so are mostly numbers which I love. I then ripped up the paper and covered the MDF with the pieces. I then added some texture stampings over the top using one of Andy Skinners Industrial backgrounds. I then built up my die cuts. I stamped Seths create word stamp and punched out the letters of the word create using a circle punch. I then glued many watch parts to the centres of a couple of the circles and added a rusty washy with an old watch face on top. Tim's Chit Chat stickers finish it off.
A couple of close ups show the details that I have added to the two main circles.
There is a variety of inspiration for you by my talented team mates Here
So we'd love for you to come along and play along with us this fortnight and your entry could be the randomly chosen entry that wins a £20 voucher to spend on line at That's Crafty.
What are you waiting for? come and play along with us HERE
I would like to enter this into the current challenge over at A Vintage Journey where the current theme is 'Going round in circles'
Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon
Love
