Find Beauty in the Ordinary for AALL & Create

Hi Everyone
I hope this morning finds you well. I'm sharing with you today another make as guest designer for AALL & Create.

This card uses my favourite technique at the moment, that being creating your background and the stencilling clear gloss gel through the stencil and then blocking out the background.
My background was created by randomly applying a selection of colours of distress ink blended onto card using a mini blending tool.

Then take your stencil which for this I have used #39 'Lotza Dots designed by Autour de Mwa, I hold mine in place with a bit of masking tape, and apply the gloss gel through the stencil. I then leave it 24hrs to totally dry out.

Once dry, I love this next stage, apply black distress ink again using your blending tool all over your piece the gloss gel resists the distress ink and leaves you your bold design. Once the ink is dry just buff up the gloss gel with a soft cloth to remove any distress ink from the gloss gel.

I then chose to cut part of the stamp #113 'Eclectic Silhouette' by Tracy Evans and chose to use the female silhouette as I wanted 5 of them I inked up the selected area and stamped 5 times and cut out.

I then coloured them using Copic markers shading them using the cool greys from light to dark across all 5 silhouettes.

I added a coloured heart to each one using the same distress ink colours and then punching them out. I have also added a little colour to the leg using the same colours but in distress markers. To match the gloss and texture of the background I then covered the heats and the dots with glossy accents. The sentiment I have added also comes from Tracy's stamp set and I cut it out from the bigger stamp.
