Steampunk Surprise at That's Crafty Challenges

Hi Everyone
There's a new challenge starting today over at That's Crafty Challenges and our theme for the coming fortnight is
"Steampunk"
Is ages since I've made something Steampunky so this fortnights challenge has pushed me out of my current comfort zone.

There are many layers to this one and each one has been coloured with distress ink cracked Pistachio and vintage photo.
Stamps are from Carabelle studio apart from the central image which is 'I Spy' by Indigoblu, I've also filled his binoculars with glossy accents so they appear to be glass..
The eye chart is texture paste though Tim holtz Eye Chart stencil after the background had been coloured using a selection of DistressPaints. It has then been touched up using the 2 distress ink colours.
Finally sentiment has been diecut in 2 colours using Tim Holtz Alterations die 'Stacked Artful Words'
and a chit chat sticker.
So if you facy getting all "Steampunky" with us, and I hope you do, pop along HERE and come and join in with us, we'd love to see what you make.
Remember one lucky winner will win £20 to spend in That's Crafty Store .
thanks for stopping by
Love
