Follow your Dreams

Hi Everyone
I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas and looking forward to 2019. I am sharing with you today my last post as a guest designer for AALL & Create. I have had a fabulous few months creating my art using the latest collections of stamps and stencils and I hope that you have enjoyed them too.
This is my last piece and uses 'Create it Grunge' #150 designed by Tracy Evans.

I have created a DL card using just the one stamp as I think it speaks for itself.
Quite a simple one this one adding interest by die cutting the squares out of the stamped image.

Colouring the squares with a selection of distress inks with the flower head being shaded grey using coloured pencils and then added back to the card. The squares that contain the main flower head I have put back with some dimension to add further interest.

to finish it off I added a strip of striped washi tape and then mounted onto a black card blank.

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my previous posts for AALL & Create and have a fabulous creative 2019

  3. This is gorgeous Amanda, and so clever. The colour looks amazing and the washi finishes it all off perfectly! Have a very happy and creative 2019, Sue xx

  4. Such a clever way of constructing and creating Amanda, those die cuts bring on a whole new dimension to that stamp face without interfering with the design. The parallel line washi adds a great touch.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2019.
